The module and 6088 series siblings are on thousands of CNC machine tools. This is a type 1 interface spindle amp, being part of Fanuc’s 200VAC series of ALPHA modules and contains; control pcb A16B-2202-0432 and power board A20B-1006-0481 (pcbs not sold separate). The larger SPM’s use IGBT transistors, with a 12mm external fan and 60mm internal cooling fans. The Fanuc A06B-6088-H222 powered either ALPHA aP30 or a15 series AC spindle motor with M or MZ feedback. On machines with this series, the amps would run in conjunction with servo amplifier modules or units. Powered together by the Fanuc power supply modules and occasionally twinned with another spindle amplifier due to the machine being twin turret.
